NSDC Honored by U.S. Small Business Administration for Securing $30.7 Million in Loans

We are pleased to announce the Nevada State Development Corporation (NSDC) was named the Platinum SBA 504 Lender for the state of Nevada at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Small Business Awards Event hosted by Vegas PBS on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. NSDC had 57 SBA 504 loans approved in 2011 for a total of $30.7 million. Vegas PBS honored those individuals and businesses whose extraordinary accomplishments have made a significant impact in the community.

NSDC has been helping the growth of small businesses since 1981. Our efforts help to stimulate economic development by providing lending solutions and advocacy services. SBA 504 loans can be used by businesses to purchase real estate or long-term equipment. The SBA 504 loans provide up to 90% funding at rates typically below the market. Applications are processed quickly with preapprovals in as little as 24 hours.

Our staff at NSDC helps borrowers with questions and complying with loan terms from start to finish enabling most loans to close within 45 days. What's really nice is no tax dollars are used to fund the SBA 504 Loan Program. NSDC has offices in Las Vegas and Reno, Nev. and is authorized to arrange SBA 504 loans in Nevada; Mojave County, Arizona; and several counties in California including Modoc Plumas, Lassen, Sierra, Placer, El Dorado, Alpine, Mono, Inyo and San Bernardino.
